It's always a thrill to watch wildlife up close; that's why we love nature documentaries so much! Alas, the human grasp on nature is so ephemeral that we must cherish these tiny moments with nature whenever we're presented with the chance, which is why the two women in this next story were so thrilled about their new houseguest—Lola, a balcony squirrel.

After a brutally wet winter, the hoomans thought perhaps the squirrel was just hiding from the elements, creating a warm n' cozy nest in the barrier of their balcony. But after some research and some long mornings spent watching the squirrel, they realized they might be getting a 4-for-1 special on their rodent neighbors!     Kitty TV is irresistible and frankly, I would probably quit my day job to witness the wildlife miracles happening right outside my door. Even on sunny days where my hummingbird feeder is extra active, I consider risking it all for a few more minutes of nature-won peace.
